A new year is already upon us, ripe for fighting the forces of evil and standing up for peace and justice, like all good superheroes do. And since we’re getting into February, I should probably write this post already.

My plans have changed little from last year.

I’m still, slowly but surely, fleshing out that list of maxims.

I’m intent on finishing my reading list from last year, along with some new entries. Among them is a book on better time management. Expect to see a post about them soon.

My Russian studies continue. Combining it with scripture turned out to be a great idea. I’m going to study some more passages. Probably from Matthew. I’m a colossal Matthew stan, if you couldn’t tell.

I’ve also started playing Final Fantasy XIV. What can I say? I was never all that enthusiastic about my beloved Final Fantasy series going online, so I ignored XI and XIV. But I’ve decided to give the concept a chance and so far I’m enjoying it. For now I’m a humble Pugilist, though someday I’ll make it to Red Mage!

Anyway, I’m sure the year will have no shortage of surprises and challenges, and I intend to be ready for all of them. Here’s to another glorious year!
