I thought I’d write up some observations about how the blog has been going, and things I could be doing better.

The blog still lacks visual punch. I think a good banner would make a substantial difference. Also, I should probably strive to add a picture to every post where it would make sense.

Also, I’m shocked to note that I haven’t written a single satirical post yet! What’s wrong with me? I was really hoping to go for a 50/50 mix of serious/humorous. Well, no time like today!

Elaborating a bit more on who I am and what my mission is would be good. Better tying these posts into my mission would be swell.

In particular, though still working through some of the details, I’m planning to add a help-request form for people in Lincoln. I hope to have more to say about this in the near future.

Finally, I should put some more thought into how I link this into social media.
